where to begin
It's all a bit cliché really. I've enjoyed drawing since I was very young. Back then I would just draw scenes of "army men". I would set the stage in highly detailed 2D environments inspired by the video games I grew up with. Then I would blow them all up with a furious flurry of crudely drawn explosions and action lines. In retrospect it was all rather uninspiring and overtly destructive. Now-a-days the destruction in my drawings is a little more subtle (its capacity for inspiration is largely debatable).
Thankfully I have expanded my creative tool box since my early years. But it's hard (and stupid) to fully suppress those early influences. This portfolio represents a gallery of some of my favorite interactive, animation, and graphic design projects all of which hint at my pencil and paper origins.

Remember who you are. It beats the alternative every time.
